We are in the process of relocating the Burns Dinner to another event. The location will change to The Scottish Rite Temple 1512 SW Morrison Downtown Portland and the menu (see new menu) will change but the entertainment is the same!

Map
Event begins at 6:00 pm with music and socializing. Food service begins at 6:30 pm
Price $60
Tickets – paid in advance to the Scottish Country Shop or at the door.
Note: Only 100 tickets will be sold so if you are planning on paying at door, please call the Scottish country shop to be put on reservation list.

True to his word, Ken was able to secure the skills of world-renowned small pipe and border pipe maker and musician, Fin Moore. Fin has performed at some of the top venues, is a highly sought-after instructor. Fin Moore plays the highland bagpipes, bellows pipes, border pipes and several other instruments.

Now we could probably stop right there and we'd have accomplished Morris' request for the best evening ever; however, we decided to go over the top and execute a Burn's dinner never to be repeated or equaled!!

Jocelyn Suvi

Highland dancing anyone? We will have Jocelyn Case, she is a two time U.S. Champion, nine time regional champion and currently ranked 7th in the world, performing for us that night. Jocelyn is bringing with her Suvi Chisholm, probably the only other woman in the Pacific Northwest able to keep up with Jocelyn's talents.

We have also invited Lori Kuechler to come sing for us. If you attended our concert two years ago, you remember Lori as the Celtic singer and guitarist with the lyrical, lilting voice that enchanted the crowd.

And finally, Scott Poole.

Scott is the resident poet of the University Club. Three years ago I stole him for our dinners after hearing him read there. Scott's poetry is fresh, often humorous and real. I was so impressed with his work; I commissioned a piece from him as a gift to my wife. You will love his work.

I think we've done all that we can to provide for a full evening of entertainment, fine food and beverages. We hope you'll join us on Friday, January 18th
